Dr. Poirrier
Dr. Poirrier grew up in St. Bernard parish where he graduated from Archbishop Hannan High School. He attended UNO, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor of sciences in biology. He graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 2005. He has practiced in Lakeview in New Orleans, and Franklin, LA. Dr. Poirrier has spent the last twelve years practicing on the Northshore in Mandeville and is excited to continue to be a part of the community with opening Three Rivers Family Dentistry in Covington, LA. Dr. Poirrier has also spent ten years practicing with Children's Hospital on the Tooth Bus. Dr. Poirrier knows the importance of establishing a great relationship with the entire family especially the youngest members. Great hygiene starts early and the team at Three Rivers Family Dentistry is here to help them start off on the right foot. Dr. Poirrier welcomes you to Three Rivers Family Dentistry with twelve years experience in multiple areas of dentistry and experience working on patients of all ages. Dr. Poirrier loves dentistry and the personal relationships he has developed over his years in practice.
Dr. Poirrier met his wife, Beth, while at UNO. They were married in 2010. They have two children: Paige, 5, and Little Ray, 2. They also have four dogs. When not spending time with his family, Dr. Poirrier enjoys playing sports, working on his ’66 mustang, and spending time on the water.
